Connor's First Birthday!!!!!

Hello Everyone,

We are so sorry we didnt have a chance to get these pictures up earlier. Thank you all so much for everything Connor recieved for his birthday. We are so thankful to have such great family and friends. Connor 1st Birthday turned out to wonderful. He loved all of his gifts and of course his cake. I think before we knew it he had about half of it down. He started out curious, but then once he tasted it he could not stop eating it. The first year has flown by and cannot believe he is already 1. Thank you so much again to everyone for their thoughtful and generous gifts. We do not know what we would do without all the special people in our lives. Thank you so much again and we cannot wait to see you all at Christmas. Hope all is well!

Connor Update

Hello Everyone
Sorry we have not been as good about putting pictures up as we should be, but there are so many good pictures we had a rough time deciding. Everything here is going great, Connor is growing faster then we want him to of course, but his personality is coming out more and more everyday. In a little over a month he will already be a year old. How time flies.
Connor has now started to eat more and more table food and is starting to stray away from the baby food. His favorites are grilled cheese, yogurt and pasta. But he will eat anything you throw in front of him. He hasnt started to take any steps yet, but he is becoming more and more of a daredevil. Letting go of things he's holding on to and just leaning toward something else. He has already taken his fair share of tumbles.

Other then that he is doing very well. He is super excited his Auntie Kelli moved in across the street, so now they can see each other so much more.

Connor Update

Hey Everyone,


We wanted to put up some quick pictures and video of what Connor has been up to the past few weeks. He has been doing so we lately, sleeping really good, playing and keeping mom and dad very busy and of course eating very well. Over the past month or so we have begun to give Connor little pieces of our dinner with his food and he is loving everything he sees. His favorite by far is tomatoes. He loves them raw, cooked or even in soup. He especially loved Grandma Jane's tomato basil soup. He goes back to the doctor next week for his 9 month checkup. He is already so big. We cannot believe how fast the time has gone.


Last week, we made a family outing to Brookfield Zoo. He was soaking everything in. He loved looking at all the animals, and being with his cousins and aunts and uncles. We think his favorite part was probably the carousel. He was smiling and yelling the whole time. It was so funny to watch. He also loved to pound on the glass of the dolphin exhibit and pet the goats at the petting zoo.

Connor seems to be changing everyday, we have so much fun watching him grow and learn. He is such a blessing to us. Thanks again to everyone and how much the have done for our family. We couldnt have done it without our family and friends.

Connor's New Wagon!!!

Hey Everyone,
We wanted to post some pictures to show you guys Connor's new wagon. This weekend his great Aunt Nancy bought him a new wagon and he has been obsessed with it ever since we brought the box upstairs. He keeps wanting to go on rides. He loves it a ton already, just wait to the end of the summer, we will have to get new tires for it, because of all the rides he will be going on. We will try to get some video of him in it posted, all he does it just kick his feet the whole time. He loves his new toy. Thanks again Aunt Nancy.

Connor Crawling!!

Hey Everyone,

Connor is finally crawling. After weeks of inching around on his stomach this past weekend he finally started to crawl. Now we cannot keep him out of everything. Once he is focused in on something there is no stopping this kid. His favorite things are anything with a cord and Daisy's dog bowls. If he hears her near them he will crawl right over and help her out. He has also cut 3 teeth now. Two on the bottom and one on the top. He has done surprisingly well going through this. He amazes us everyday with what he can do. We are so thankful. Hope everything is going well with all of you. Take care and we love you all so much.

Connor has been doing so well lately, he is only days away from being able to crawl. He can now get up onto his hands and knees all by himself and is swaying forward and backward. His new obsession is Daisy. Every time she comes around him he giggles and tries to pet her, she loves licking his face and it doesn't seem to bother him much. I think she is is trouble once he gets a little more mobile. With Katie home for the summer Connor has been making lots of trips to the park to play on the swing set. He loves the swing and going down the slide with Aunt Kelli. He makes everyday so much fun for all of us. I'm sure we will have our hands full with this little guy once he begin to scoot around. We love you all so much and will be posting more pictures soon.

6 months!!!!!

We cannot believe Connor is already 6 months old, gosh time has flown by so fast. Connor went to the doctor yesterday and is a healthy 19lbs 6 ounces and 28 inches long. He is getting so big so fast, we don't even remember him being in 6 month clothes :)

Connor has also been sitting by himself now for about 3 weeks. This has been a lot of fun because he can play with so many of his toys now. It is amazing to see him interact and play. Connor can push himself up onto his knees and hold that position, any day now we are just waiting for him to take that first push and start crawling.

We wanted to share a few recent pictures. Above you can see he now sits in the bath and plays, he LOVES his dog, and sometimes he has trouble figuring out how that pacifier goes in his mouth, but he sure does look good in sunglasses:) And yes another video :)

Connor Rolled Over!!!!

Hello Everyone,

Connor has finally rolled over, after weeks of being so close and getting up to his side he finally did it this morning. He has been doing very well in the eating department as well. This week we switched him over to oatmeal and will soon be moving toward vegtables. He is surprising us everyday with something new. He is picking up new things so fast and we can already tell he is going to be a handful when he starts crawling and walking. He makes us so very happy. Hope all is well with everyone and we will try to update more often.

Connor's first rice cereal

Hey everyone,

Today Connor went to the doctor for his 4 month check-up and was finally cleared to start eating rice cereal and vegtables. He now weights 17 pounds 6 ounces and is 25 inches tall. He is doing very well the doctor says. Within the next few months he can begin eating more and more of the baby food. He is doing really well with everything else and has rolled from his stomach to his back a few times, before we know it he is going to be everywhere. His little personality is coming out more and more everyday and is so fun to watch change. Thank you all again for your love and support. Connor brings so much joy to both of our lives. We are so blessed with such a great baby.

3 months

Connor is now 3 months old!! We cant believe how fast he is growing and how much he changes day to day. His next doctors appointment is at the end of the month, we are excited to see his height and weight. We had his 3 month pictures taken and he was awesome!! It was so hard to pick pictures because there were so many good ones!! He is such a happy baby and we are all enjoying our lives together.

Hello all,

We wanted to make a quick post to update everyone on Connor. He is doing so good over the past few weeks. He has slowly started to get rid of his cold, and has been seeming a lot better. He has been making a lot more noise too. After he is done eating, he is the happiest boy. He will smile and talk to you. His schedule is improving as well. He is sleeping through the night pretty consistently to let Mom and Dad get their rest. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby.

First Cold

Connor had his first cold this week, and is just now beginning to recover. It has been hard for him to sleep because of his cough. It is also hard for mom and dad to sleep because we have been worried about him. The doctor said it was nothing to worry about though, which is great news. Over the past two days he has seemed much better and can sleep with his pacifier in his mouth :)

Connor is also on his second week at his day care. He is loving being with all the kids, when he comes home you can see him thinking about his day. Day care also makes him exhausted, he plays hard I guess. He already has all the older girls over there fighting over him. We are so proud of how well he has adjusted to his new schedule.

Doctors appointment

Connor is now 9 weeks old and just seems to be getting bigger everyday. At the doctors appointment he weighed in at 13 pounds and 1 ounce, and is now 24 inches long, both are about the 90th percentile. The doctor was very impressed with how strong he is and how well he has been eating. He also got four shots, which was very hard for dad to watch. We think Connor is growing a lot more hair also, look for pictures soon.

As for good news for mom and dad, Connor has been sleeping through the night for the past two nights!!!! He just seems worn out after playing all day, it is so cute.
